Σκοπός Σεμιναρίου

This course is designed to provide students with advanced techniques used to develop fully functional, well performing business applications using PowerBuilder 9. This course is hands-on with written and lab exercises as reinforcement to class discussions.

This course teaches sophisticated concepts at an accelerated pace. Students new to PowerBuilder are encouraged to complete the prerequisite course before taking this course.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

Create standard reports, including graphs, crosstabs and multi-column reports
Create RichText, nested, and composite style reports
Manipulate the properties and behavior of the DataWindow control
Access and modify the properties of the DataWindow object
Describe the internal organization of the DataWindow buffers
Analyze issues involved in managing transactions and concurrency
Access, update, and validate data from the database using DataWindow techniques
Create a DataWindow dynamically
Create and use DataStores
Generate XML using DataWindows
Create and use standard, custom and external user objects
Implement advanced elements of the graphical user interface, such as ListView, TreeView, and Tab controls
Employ drag and drop for direct manipulation within the application
Apply the PowerBuilder Native Interface with external functions in PowerBuilder applications
Test, debug and analyze PowerBuilder applications using a variety of techniques

Υπηρεσίες Catering - Coffee Break

Για τα σεμινάρια που διοργανώνονται πρωϊνές ώρες (09.00-17.00) προσφέρονται 2 Coffee Break με χυμό και βουτήματα (ένα κατά την άφιξή σας και ένα μετά το γεύμα) ενώ το μεσημέρι προσφέρεται καθιστό γεύμα με αναψυκτικό. Για τα σεμινάρια που διοργανώνονται απογευματινές ώρες (17.30-21.30 μμ) προσφέρονται Coffee Break, χυμός και βουτήματα καθόλη την διάρκεια του σεμιναρίου.
